To Reduce Stress and Bring Your Life into Balance

Additional Info: We are going to have a de-stressing get together learning how to bring balance to our lives using some quick and easy stress relief tools. We will have a massage therapist available giving massages for the entire time. Plus aromatherapy, foot baths, and some quick and easy self relaxation techniques.
Wear loose fitting comfortable clothes, light refreshments will be served with plenty of herbal tea and water.

After last September’s wonderful evening watching “The Secret Life of Bees” under the stars on the Holton’s deck, we thought another movie evening to kick off our book nights this season. “The Color Purple”, written by Alice Walker, as the book for September. We will attending the Fakes, Forgeries and Mystery Exhibit before it leaves Detroit. Tickets are $12. Please be early to buy your ticket for the 6:00 p.m. tour. Enter the DIA at the Farnsworth entrance, not the Woodward entrance. Underground parking is available at Farnsworth and Woodward right next to the musuem. You can also valet park there for $8. There is a WSU lot a block away at Wrren and Woodward and a large lot on John R by the Detroit Science Center also right by the Farnsworth entrance. The DIA cafe is open until 9:00 p. m. if we want to get a bite to eat later.
