For over 30 years, the Western Wayne Washtenaw (WWW) alumnae chapter has enjoyed providing an opportunity for lifelong sorority experience for our members.  We are dedicated to each other, our national organization, our philanthropy and community service, and relationships with our local collegiate chapter and alumnae chapters.  Our programs and events throughout the year provide a rewarding opportunity for Tri Sigmas in alumnae life.

Our members range in age, backgrounds, careers, and interests.  Members live in Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, Wayne, Monroe, and Genesee counties and participate in various professional, civic, service, and social organizations.  We have members who serve as Alumnae Advisory Board (AAB) members for local collegiate chapters and who are active in the Detroit Panhellenic and American Association of University Women (AAUW).  Even though we have varied lives, we all have something in common:  our love for Sigma, our bonds of sisterhood, and friendship with each other.

The WWW chapter holds meetings throughout the year with a variety of programs.  Each year we celebrate Founder’s Day with the Omicron Chapter at Eastern Michigan University and host a Senior Send On for graduating seniors of Omicron Chapter.  WWW chapter also plan service programs that support our national philanthropy, the local community, and the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation.

Each triennium, attending National Convention has been a greatly anticipated event with numerous members traveling to the convention destination.  The past two Conventions we were very proud to have been the recipient of numerous awards.
